What is all our Brow Lingo? Which appointment should you book?
Are you unsure what to book in for when it comes to brows? There are all these different techniques used but do we really know what they mean?
That’s why we’ve made this blog at Beaches Lash Co to help you choose what you want and give you a little insight on what to expect!
BROW DESIGN
Our Brow Design includes measuring and mapping out the brow shape, a tint, wax and tweezing of stray hairs and a brow trim. If you are a first time brow client of Beaches Lash Co you need to book the “Brow Design NEW CLIENT” option because we will consult with you and discuss the brows you would like to achieve. It is important to remember that to get your desired shape we may recommend you to grow your brow hairs (a lash serum can help to grow them faster) and it may take a few sessions to get the brows you want. At the end of your appointment, an optional inclusion is that we finish your brows with makeup. This is often popular with those going out after their appointment. Also, we can spend time with you to go through how to apply make up to achieve the look you are after.
We LOVE this technique for people wanting a more defined brow shape and love the glam look as soon as they leave our salon.
The tint usually lasts around 3-4 weeks however we can only promise the make up lasts until you next wash your face.
We say standard tint can last up to 4 weeks however it all depends on your skin type and skin routine. Oily skin is likely not to hold onto tint as well as drier skin, the same with products used. If you use acids and serum everyday, you’re likely not to get 4 weeks out of the tint (keep using them serums though!)
HYBRID BROW STAIN
Hybrid brows is a new technique which uses an extreme tint that not only dyes the brow hairs but also stains the skin. This gives the illusion of fuller thicker brows and can last up to 6 weeks on brow hairs and 10 days on the skin (standard tint washes off the skin when you have your next shower).
We are loving this technique recently for clients with sparse brows but don’t want to take the plunge to Henna or microblading brows.
It can be customised to all clients and can be added on to the Brow Design for an extra fee in place of a standard tint.
